You can always find out if you are using a proxy by checking your IP address. If your IP address is different from before, then you have successfully set up a proxy on your iPhone. Just type \u201cwhat’s my IP address\u201d into a search engine, and you will see several websites that instantly read and display your IP address.<\/p>\n\n

In Windows<\/strong>, you can quickly check your proxy by clicking Start, then Run, typing \u201ccmd,\u201d and clicking OK. At the command prompt, type \u201cnetsh winhttp show proxy,\u201d and then press ENTER. Your proxy settings will appear shortly.<\/p>\n\n

In Google Chrome<\/strong>, you can easily check your proxy server and firewall settings by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Open Google Chrome, then click on the Menu<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to the Settings<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Scroll down and select Show advanced settings…<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. On the Network<\/strong> tab, click Change proxy settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
